Ehlers Attorneys was opened in June 2001 by Mr Giel Ehlers. As a previous commander of the Johannesburg Narcotics Bureau in the SA Police, Mr Ehlers had an excellent knowledge of Criminal Law and he proceeded to establish a firm with an excellent reputation in dealing with criminal matters.

In April 2002 we opened offices at our current location. Our office has since then provided a home base from which we serve clients countrywide.

In 2003 we began assisting clients with claims against the Road Accident Fund. Since then we have expanded our services to include Civil Litigation, Conveyancing, Labour Law, Debt Administration, Debt Counselling, Insolvencies and Liquidations, and Family Law, including divorces and custody matters, antenuptial contracts,wills, trusts and estate planning and administration of deceased estates.

In 2006 we expanded and renovated the office to accommodate our growing staff and clientele complement.

In 2008 we opened a regional office on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast.

It is important to all of us at Ehlers Attorneys to give each of our clients individual attention and to help each client with his various legal needs. We have a history of becoming the “family lawyer” to our clients, who return to us time and again for assistance with various legal requirements.
